什么是指数投资？
指数投资指与某个市场或某组股票的平均业绩保持一致之投资策略。做指数投资通常是少量买进某个市场上的每一种股票。某种指数，例如标准普尔500种股票指数，即反映这个市场或这组股票（情况）的指标。
为何选择指数投资？
众多的独立研究表明，由于风险小、纳税少，指数投资在长期内能带来较大收益。在任一特定年份，多数从事积极投资的基金业绩不如它们企图胜过的市场，扣除管理费用之后尤其如此。
