那是我们的布什！（趣味英语）

乔治·W·布什总统今天视察一所小学，参观四年级的一个班。这个班正在讨论单词及其含义。
老师恭请布什引导该班讨论“悲剧”这个词。于是总统请学生们举出一个“悲剧”的例子。
一个小男孩站起来说：“如果住在隔壁的我最好的朋友在街上玩耍时被一辆汽车碾过，那将是一场悲剧。”
“不，”布什说，“那将是一场事故。”
一个小女孩举手说：“如果载着50个孩子的校车跌下悬崖，车上无人生还，那将是一场悲剧。”
“恐怕不是，”布什解释说，“我们会说那是重大损失。”
教室里鸦雀无声。没有其他的孩子自告奋勇回答。布什总统扫视整个教室：“没有人能给我举一个悲剧的例子？”
最后，教室后面一个名叫约翰尼的男孩举起了手。他语气平静地说：“如果空军一号，载着您和布什夫人，被导弹击中，炸成碎片，那将是一场悲剧。”
“正确，”布什高声说道，“很对。你能告诉我为什么那是一场悲剧吗？”
小约翰尼说：“因为，就像刚才您告诉我们的，那不是事故，而且肯定不是重大损失。”
THAT ’S　OUR　BUSH！
President　George　W．Bush　is　visiting　an　element－ary　schooltoday　and　he　visits　one　of　the　4th　grade　classes．They　are　in  the　middle　of　a　discussion　related　to　words　and　their　meanings．
The　teacher　asks　the　President　if　he　would　like　to　leadthe　class　in　the　discussion　of　the　word,“tragedy”．So　the　President　asks　the　class　for　an　example　of　a“tragedy”．
One　little　boy　stands　up　and　offers,“If　my　best　friend,who　lives　next　door,is　playing　in　the　street　and　a　car　comesalong　and　runs　him　over,that　would　be　a　tragedy．”
“No,”says　Bush,“that　would　be　an　accid－ent．”
A　little　girl　raises　her　hand:“If　a　school　bus　carrying50　children　dr ove　off　a　cliff,killing　everyone　involved,thatwould　be　a　tragedy．”
“I'm　afraid　not,”explains　the　President．“That's  whatwe　would　call　a　GREAT　LOSS．”
The　room　goes　silent．No　other　children　volunteer．PresidentBush　searches　the　room．“Isn't　there　someo－ne　here　who　can　give　me　an　exam  ple　of　a　tragedy?”
Finally,way　in　the　back　of　the　room,a　boy　named　Johnnyraises　his　hand．In　a　quiet　voice　he　says,“If　Air　Force　One,carrying　you　and　Mrs．　Bush,was　struck　by　a　missile　and　blownup　to　smither eens,that　would　be　a　tragedy．”
“Correct,”　exclaims　Bush,“that's　right．And　can　you　tellme　WHY　that　would　be　a　traged y?”
“Well,”little　Johnny　said,“because,like　you　just　told　us,it　wouldn't　be　an　ac－cident,and　it　sure　as　well　wouldn't　bea　great　loss．”
